Large Victorian workshop drawers

A stunning and sizable C19th chest of drawers, probably originally designed for a workshop as the drawers have a variety of divisions within. Made with attention to detail, this has some wonderful indications of quality - particularly the unusual brass rollers on the bottom two rows of drawers which make the running smoother and easier when these are laden. The timber has taken on a fantastic patina - great colour, signs of genuine age and use and a real glow.

In good condition - there is an old repair to the top left hand back corner as shown; otherwise no woodworm and all of the drawers run well. Some of the drawers have old repairs to the runners which are working well so we've left them alone - see pictures for details.

This has probably been cut down from a larger piece as the cleating at the ends and the sides are a later addition but are well matched and make this a much more functional chest.
