Antique English garden bench

An absolutely stunning antique English garden bench in good condition - the wooden struts are all solid and the frame is completely stable with no cracks or damage. That's the boring stuff out of the way - now I can wax lyrical about just how beautiful it is!

Cast in heavy-gauge aluminium (so no rust) this dates from c.1900 and retains the original paint (in most places - there are some areas of loss which we've shown in the pictures). The swirling organic design may be based on a Coalbrookdale bench of the 1800's and it has a very elegant, country house feel. Benches of this quality are getting really hard to source, so we're delighted to have found this one in time for summer!
